What it is and why to eat

What it is:

     Litchi (scientific name Litchi chinensis Sonn) had his origin in China and then was propagated in Brazil. Its tree called “lichieira” hits 10 to 12 meters of height and the harvest happens from November to January. Best climates for the “lichieira” are humid tropical and subtropical environments. The fruit has a reddish bark on the outside and it is white with a grape texture and a big stone inside.

Why to eat:

     Litchi is a big source of nutrients which act on the nervous and circulatory systems, such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, carbohydrate fats and B vitamins, vitamin C, and other components that helps to fight cancer.
